Position: Cyber Security Analyst - Fresher

Your responsibilities as a Cyber Security Analyst - Fresher:
- Perform regular vulnerability assessments on various systems, networks, and applications to identify potential security weaknesses and threats.
- Conduct penetration testing to simulate real-world cyber-attacks and attempt to exploit vulnerabilities in client's systems and applications. Analyse and report the results to the relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with senior members of the team to participate in comprehensive security assessments, including code reviews, system architecture analysis, and risk assessments.
- Document and communicate the findings of penetration tests and vulnerability assessments in clear and concise reports. Ensure that reports include actionable recommendations for improving security posture.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and techniques in cybersecurity, penetration testing tools, and methodologies. Continuously enhance your knowledge to contribute effectively to the team.
- Collaborate with system administrators and developers to provide guidance and support for addressing identified security vulnerabilities and weaknesses.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of security measures and meet development goals.
Skill sets we require:
- Knowledge of common networking protocols, operating systems and web applications.
- Familiarity with Penetration Testing Methodologies, tools and techniques (e.g OWASP Top 10, Nmap, Metasploit)
- Basic understanding of cybersecurity principles, threats and vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pedigree and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology or a related field.
- Experience of 0 - 6 months into Cyber Security Testing (Good to have).
