Internship Job Description: VAPT & AppSec

Role Overview
We are seeking motivated interns to join our Cybersecurity team with a focus on Vulnerability Assessment, Penetration Testing (VAPT), and Application Security (AppSec). This internship offers hands-on exposure to real-world security challenges, tools, and methodologies, with the potential to transition into a full-time role upon successful completion.

Key Responsibilities
    • Assist in conducting vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on web, mobile, and network applications.
    • Support in identifying, documenting, and reporting security vulnerabilities.
    • Work with senior security engineers to validate findings and recommend remediation steps.
    • Contribute to secure code reviews and application security testing.
    • Research emerging threats, exploits, and security tools.
    • Maintain compliance-ready documentation of assessments and findings.
Eligibility
    • Students graduating or post graduating in 2026 or earlier in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, or related science fields.
    • Strong interest in ethical hacking, application security, and risk assessment.
    • Basic knowledge of networking, operating systems, and web technologies.
    • Familiarity with security tools (e.g., Burp Suite, OWASP ZAP, Nmap, Metasploit) is a plus.
    • Relevant certifications (CEH, OSCP, etc.) are advantageous.
Skills & Competencies
    • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
    • Ability to document findings clearly and professionally.
    • Team collaboration and eagerness to learn.
    • Understanding of OWASP Top 10 and common vulnerabilities.
Duration & Location
    • Internship duration: 3–6 months (flexible based on academic schedule).
    • Location: Andheri or Dombivli Office
