Database Developer

Position: Database Developer

Location: Andheri, Mumbai

Your responsibilities as a Database Developer:

1. Design, implement, and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction, transformation, and loading activities.
2. Maintain and improve already existing processes.
3. Ensure that the data architecture is scalable and maintainable.
4. Understanding of Dimensional Modelling.
5. Develop source-to-target mapping, or data transformation instructions that outline how to convert data in the source system to the target system as well as map the data values.

Skill sets we require:

1. Strong SQL knowledge (query performance tuning, index maintenance, etc.) as well as an understanding of database structure.
2. Expertise in OLAP technologies.
3. In-depth knowledge of at least one Enterprise Database Management System (SQL Server, Oracle, Postgres etc.)
4. Familiarity with Agile approaches to development is a plus.
5. Problem-solving and analytical skills.
6. Ability to pick up new data tools and concepts quickly.

Pedigree and Experience:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science (or equivalent experience).
2. Above 2 - 4 years of experience in related areas.
