Position: Application Support Engineer

Key Responsibilities: 

Provide **L1/L2 support** for business applications, resolving technical issues efficiently.  

Write and execute **SQL queries** to analyze and troubleshoot database-related problems.  

Utilize **Postman** to test and debug API requests and integrations.  

Track, document, and manage support tickets using **Jira** to ensure timely resolution.  

Work with **Excel** to analyze data, generate reports, and maintain logs.  

Communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders via **email** and other communication channels.  

Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve application stability and performance.  

(Plus) Familiarity with **CI/CD tools** to assist in deployment and automation tasks.  


Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong knowledge of **SQL** (queries, joins, troubleshooting).  

Experience with **Postman** for API testing and debugging.  

Hands-on experience with **Jira** for ticketing and issue tracking.  

Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis).  

Excellent **email communication** skills for clear and professional correspondence.  

Basic understanding of **CI/CD tools** (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.) is a plus.  

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.  

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.  


Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in **Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Prior experience in an **Application Support** or **Technical Support** role.
